Search Engine Visibility is one of the best search engine optimization books . I found the book extremely easy to follow. The book also does a excellent job of stressing web site usability and design which is inseparable from search engine optimization and missing from many search engine optimization books. Many of the web sites for large search engine optimization companies have terrible usability.

The book walks you through the creation of a fictitious web site. You can logically apply the book to the construction of your web site,

As important as knowing what to do is knowing what not to do. Shari does an excellent job of warning you about red flags.

Even if you do not plan to do the search engine optimization yourself you should read this book to help you manage the process in house or in the selection of a competent search engine optimization consultant.
