Recommended References - Search Engine Optimization |

| Search Engine Optimization for Dummies by Peter Kent is another great resource. I would read a particular subject in this book and then compare it to what I read in Search Engine Visibility by Shari Thurow. While similar it is interesting to compare how two experts approach or explain the same topic. This book is extremely easy to follow and I consider it a must have reference.
Where I think this book shines is in the "Where to" and "How to" aspects of search engine optimization. How to I find good sites to link to. How do I use the available software tools to get the job done. How do I keep up to date. This is a must have book for people planning to do a good deal of the search engine optimization work themselves. Again, even if you do not plan to do the search engine optimization yourself it can help you evaluate the quality of work being performed by your search engine optimization consultant and to contribute to the success of the search engine optimization process. |
